About Hot Tires
Hot Tires is an used tire shop in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It is listed at 802 Old Morgantown Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101, which places it among the local businesses of Bowling Green that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 amβ6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. November 3rd, 2025...Retired Military Member AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Had a tire incident in I-65, which left me in need of a tire. I called Hot Tires and asked if they had my size tire and was told they did, and quoted a price. After driving all the way across town, I get there to find the gentlemen eating lunch. I introduced myself as the one that called about the tire, and was told "OK, just let me finish my lunch." I replied "OK, that's fine, I appreciate your help." Over 40 mins later a gentleman finally starts looking for the tire (which took another 15+ mins), only to come and tell me the size they had wasn't the size I was looking for and "that's not going to work." No "we're sorry/let us see if we can find it at another shop since you waited so long/hey, we're sorry we wasted your time." Nothing. Sometimes you get good work at places that have bad customer service, I get that. But to CALL ahead of time and then drive all the way across a city in unfamiliar with (I live in SC), only to have to wait and then be told "we don't have it" is not ok and SUPER unprofessional. I should have known better, but I trusted what he said on the phone, only to be sold a false bill of goo

I love this shop. They have fair prices and fast service. My only complaint was I didn't get my original silver valve caps back. Had two tires replaced and only one black valve cap afterwards. So it's not much of a complaint. I will definitely be back and I would recommend.
